Moonrise Kingdom’s Wardrobe is Fit for Street Style Fashionistas Alana Zimmer and Cara Delevingne
Wes Anderson’s films can make hardcore fashionistas long for the wardrobes of his female characters with almost the same intensity that they crave the newest Isabel Marant accessories. His most recent project, Moonrise Kingdom does not disappoint. In fact we can already picture models like Alana Zimmer and Cara Delevingne sporting these retro-chic styles.

Christy of The Gown Swap is also pretty excited about the film! Inspired by the trailer, she came up with the idea of a couple eloping in an old fashion Bronco to a comfy tent in the middle of a wildflower meadow. I love how Kristina of Jar of Buttons incorporated lots of details + styling from the film and thanks to Meghan Christine Photography for the capturing the fun concept!

Seated at a cafe table tucked safely away from the bustling Waldorf-Astoria lobby, the pair — now both 13 — appear fearless and focused. Kara is exceedingly ladylike and poised in her green knit Rachel Roy shift, while baby-blue polo-shirted Jared has grown 5 inches, and his voice has deepened since the shoot last year.
He is still more boy than man, an only child whose proud mother, Leslie, uses her son’s photo as a phone cover. When Jared mentions a recent film obsession — the 2010 superhero spoof Kick-Ass— he feels obligated to politely mouth the second half of the title.

Actually I think this was a video that came out a few weeks ago and was on the rushmore academy links of behind the scenes. Recently people have been posting it everywhere but I didn’t want to reblog because I thought most people saw it before! But oh well, here it is again :) because it’s awesome anyway.
